Furniture
Tudor Oak, founded in
1970 by Richard Foreman, is a specialist manufacturer of fine English Oak
reproduction furniture. We also make some models in English Cherry, Walnut
and Yew wood. Our collection of standard pieces includes many of the
classic 16th, 17th & 18th century English Oak designs and many of these
traditional pieces have been adapted for use in contemporary living
environments.
Our craftsmen employ
many of the original techniques used by English Cabinet Makers. The timber
used is air seasoned and then kiln dried. The hand finished pieces are
fully distressed and coloured to simulate the warmth and character of
genuine antiques. The Collection of furniture is comprehensive, with over
350 different designs. There are many variations available to suit
customers’ preferences and in addition to our standard range, we also offer
a complete bespoke service and these pieces can be made uniquely to your
specification.
Tudor Oak has earned
a reputation both in the UK and abroad for consistent high quality
reproduction furniture, creating the antiques of the future.
Architectural
Joinery Work including Doors and Panelling
In addition to the
manufacturing of fine furniture, we undertake specialist period
architectural joinery, working closely with architects, specifiers and
builders on their projects utilising all our traditional skills and timber.
Oak Timber
We can also supply
Oak timber from our own timber yards. The timber can be fresh sawn, air dried
or kiln dried suitable for many purposes, such as flooring and in
particular, beams for architectural joinery and restoration work.
